The oldest serving fighting vessel in the Northern Fleet, Wariangle was built at the Cannard and Burnsharp shipyard in Aquilea and launched in 2152. Due to a series of mishaps in the 2150's she was completely overhauled and as a consequence, survived her sister ships which were all scrapped after the Navy Reformations of 2164. She was eventually deemed obsolete in 2177 but due to her excellent condition was transferred to the Auxiliary fleet as a convoy escort. In 2186 Vice Admiral Jaak beDoel requested his squadron be strengthened and Wariangle returned to the Northern Fleet as a temporary consort to Cyclone. In 2188 she is still serving in this capacity, but is expected to be replaced by the end of the year. Her commanding officer is Captain Denholm Brightwater.
