Steadfast



Type: Armed survey vessel.
Displacement: 320 Imperial tons.
Length: 130 ft (40 m).
Beam: 23 ft 6 in (7.16 m).
Draught: 13 ft 6 in (4.11 m).
Propulsion: Triple expansion reciprocating steam engine. 1 Shaft.
Speed: 10 knots (12 mph; 19 km/h).
Complement: 24 Officers and men.
Armament: 1 × QF 12-pounder (76-mm) gun.

Built at Kötka in 2167 as one of a pair, Steadfast began life as a coastal patrol and convoy escort vessel in the Straits of Sottunga under the command of the Northern Fleet's Auxiliary Flotilla. After twelve years of regular service she was refitted as a servey vessel and placed under the direct authority of the Admiralty which employed her to make detailed charts of Regnian territorial waters. In 2182 she was reassigned back to the Northern fleet as an auxilliary, but then in 2184 she was placed under the provisional authority of the Ministry of the Interior where she remains.
